The house is on the Main Street in Castletown, it backs into the football pitch so very little danger of being built up behind the house.
 
The front of the house does it no justice but once you enter the house opens up into a large "L" shape out to the back with a double apex aspect, friends call it the Tardis, Viewing is essential.
 
As you enter you arrive into the porchway through pvc door plenty of room to take of muddy shoes and hang coats, then once in the corridoor you have the bathroom on the left and the front bedroom on the right. The house is one of the oldest on the main street and has quirky little features as it was a stone masons cottage, there are a couple of lovely features in the garden and the house has a lovely feel to it.
 
The decorating in the majority of the house has been done to a very high standard with feature walls with top quality paper newly skimmed plaster so if you wanted to change the scheme its all ready to paint, there are new floors throughout the back of the house and all have top quality carpets (diningroom, bedroom, livingroom and corridor) the carpets cost over Ł3000 with full underlay underneath.  All the rooms have large double radiators and double glazing throughout.  And the house has been completely re wired.  This has all been done in the last 3 years and the heating is only 2 years old.  All in all the house has had Ł30,000 worth of renovations.
 
I will be looking at offers in the region Ł105,000, this is due to the amount i have spent on it, the heating and re-wiring alone cost over Ł10,000.

The house is near to local amenities, there is a shop, pub, petrol station, chip shop, chinese takeaway, garden centre and post office in the village, as well as being 5 mins walk from Dunnet Beach, which is a 3 mile long sandy beach in a bay and also close to Dunnet Forest.  Thurso is 5 miles away and Wick is 15 miles away.  There is a primary school in the village and is also on a main bus route.
